The Opportunity
The project comprised the renovation of two large commercial buildings located on a singular site within an industrial area, offering ample external space. Works included a full soft strip-out, formation of managed workspace units and workshops, full window replacement, and delivery of an innovative design package for all communal areas.
The Challenges
The original scope of the works was to retain the existing soffit to all ground floor areas. It was soon apparent, following a number of surveys, that the existing soffit contained asbestos. A re-design was required which impacted on the contracted tight programme.
The Outcome
Total Project Integration successfully delivered a fully managed workspace comprising of offices, workshops, and collaborative breakout areas. The development was finished associated secure parking and modern amenities to support the needs of contemporary SME’s and businesses.
