The development includes 86, single occupant, one-bedroom apartments and 36, two-bedroom apartments for up to 3 occupants. The works also involved associated site preparation, external works, drainage and external services.

The Opportunity
The development is located on a former car park site, split over two levels with a retaining wall structure along one side of the boundary. The site’s central location made it ideal for delivering high-quality homes for renters seeking good transport links and access to local amenities.
The Challenges
The site required a systematic proof dig to remove obstructions ahead of the piled foundation works. The existing retaining wall also needed extensive repairs, carried out by a specialist contractor. With the site bounded by busy main roads and neighbouring occupied buildings, securing approval for the tower crane demanded close coordination with the client, contractor, local council and surrounding stakeholders.
The Outcome
The project was completed in July 2025, delivering a collection of quality homes within the city-centre. All works were completed on programme and to a high standard.
