Fit-out of a 4,900 ft² new building to create a 100-cover restaurant, terrace bar and cocktail bar for The Alchemist brand. The building, located at Media City in Salford Quays, overlooks the Manchester Ship Canal and sits on the land bridge crossing Dock 9 between The Lowry and the BBC.

The Opportunity
The project formed part of an expansion drive by the client to increase their brand presence across the UK. It was important that a consistent and high-quality approach was taken to the fit-out to align with the overall brand identity.
The Challenges
The bar and restaurant were created within a newly designed building in a prominent location at Media City in Salford Quays. The design of the fit-out works ran concurrently with completion of the landlord’s base build. TPI managed communication between landlord and tenant to ensure objectives were properly programmed and cost managed. TPI were also responsible for managing all direct orders placed by the client, including cost, programme, delivery and installation.
The Outcome
The project was delivered on time and to a high standard, meeting the client’s scheduled opening date.
